Here on the East Yorkshire coast, we have so many fantastic fish and chip shops, a dish first served up in the 1860s, and many family run to this day. Not only do they serve up great food, but contribute significantly to our local tourism and hospitality offering too.
Ahead of National Fish and Chip Day in three weeks' time (on Friday 5th June), I wanted to fish around to find out which is your local favourite. I will announce first, second and third plaice on the big day!
