Thank you to BBC Radio Humberside for covering the disappointing and frustrating decision by York and Scarborough NHS Trust to permanently close the Bridlington Hospital Care Unit.
There remain a number of unanswered questions that we urgently need the hospital’s NHS Trust and the local Integrated Care Board to set out in a clear plan (see my statement on this yesterday on my social media page) and I will be scrutinising and challenging them on this very closely going forward.
