It has been a busy and productive week at Conservative Party Conference!
I met with organisations including the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Specsavers, Cancer Research UK, and Guide Dogs to discuss their work and the issues that matter most to those they support.
I took part in a roundtables and panels on subjects such as how the Conservative Party can scale back the nanny state to restore individual freedom and choice, and the rise of black-market activity in the UK as a result of excessive taxation on products like alcohol and tobacco.
Party Conference also brought welcome policy announcements from Kemi Badenoch, including the scrapping of stamp duty on primary residences, firm action on illegal migration, and economic plans to cut the deficit, lower taxes, and relieve us from Labour’s tax raids and broken promises. It's been a great opportunity to engage with charities, businesses, friends and colleagues - looking forward to getting back to Parliament next week!
