After raising Bridlington Care Unit in the House of Commons yesterday, I was pleased to use my platform as your local MP on ITV News Calendar to make the case against closure.
Next week I’ll be meeting York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and this morning I met NHS Humber and North Yorkshire.
The meeting was constructive but the decision lies with the NHS Trust so there will be much to discuss next week.
