It was great to meet Driffield resident Jason George in Parliament to discuss eliminating Hepatitis C as a public health threat in the UK.
An estimated 92,900 are living with chronic Hepatitis C infection in the UK, representing a 47% decrease since 2015. The Hepatitis C Trust estimates that, if this current rate of prevalence reduction continues, the UK will be on track to achieve an 80% decrease in chronic HCV prevalence by 2030 compared to 2015.
