The East Riding of Yorkshire receives the lowest level of funding for children with SEND - since my election I've been raising this with Ministers, and I hope the current funding formula review provides an opportunity to put it right.
For parents like me, there's extremely limited provision for children with SEND outside of term-time too, and what little there is can be prohibitively expensive. I asked the Secretary of State to look at what more can be done by local authorities to support families all year around.
I thank the Secretary of State for her kind words, and I'll keep working hard to make sure that the system is fairer for children with SEND.
