  • Speeches in Parliament

It's unacceptable that after victims of grooming gangs have called for a national inquiry, Labour continue to ignore them. Local inquiries are inadequate - they don't have the legal powers to summon witnesses, take evidence under oath or requisition evidence.

There are 50 towns across the country where rape gangs have operated. Why won't Labour set up a national inquiry for victims to get the justice they so deserve?
