I was delighted to attend a Special Live Innovation Day at the Marton Road Pharmacy in Bridlington.
It was fantastic to be there for the unveiling of a new dispensing robot introduced by pharmacy owner, Jaya Authunuri, and president of Pharmathek, Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein. The robot, newly named Robin, and connecting technology are working together to help create a more efficient workflow. This will free up more time for patient care and clinical studies.
I would like to take this opportunity to emphasise how important pharmacies are to our local area. Pharmacies provide local care to those who need it, handing out prescriptions, and giving personal and caring advice. It is integral that we support these establishments and help them to improve and continue their great work in our communities.
