It was fantastic to visit the John Innes Centre in Norwich this week with colleagues from the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs Select Committee.
The John Innes Centre is an independent, international centre of excellence in plant science, genetics and microbiology. We met with scientists working on cutting edge precision breeding in plants and held meetings with experts from across the industry to discuss the opportunities and barriers to implementation for this hugely exciting new technology.
