A great visit to St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Market Weighton just before the end of term, including lots of questions to answer from the Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
From what a typical day of work looks like for a Member of Parliament and whether I have met the Prime Minister, down to even more important topics such as whether Ronaldo or Messi is better, they had a range of topics to question me on.
It was great to meet all the pupils and their headteacher Mrs McKenna, Rebecca, for an update on education in our area and to show me round their school.
A credit to their school and their parents, I hope the pupils enjoy their autumn term trip down to London to see the Houses of Parliament as much as I enjoyed visiting them.
